Text Box: This lady is amazing! We lost our dog Cedar yesterday- she didn’t come home and the storm was starting. I called Jan and she told me Cedar was very groggy, but she didn’t feel any fear or pain. She said Cedar says she is HOME, and that she was somewhere near the house and had a bag or tarp draped over her. Jan told me she “felt” o.k. - no pain, and that I should go on to bed. She was dry and safe, and she would be ready to come indoors soon. That was at midnight. At 2 a.m., my Echo began barking aggressively at the kitchen floor! I turned on the outside lights and went out into the ice just in time to see Cedar crawling out from under our house (under the kitchen floor). There is a layer of gravel and then heavy plastic sheets over the gravel under our house, and Cedar was under the plastic- the something draped over her!  How the lady knew all that from Indianapolis I have no idea, but she is GOOD!

Text Box: We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. Show nature - trees, flowers, grass - grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls.
--Mother Teresa

Sam, my puppy, responded so well to this instruction that we now walk our neighborhood without the tugging and pulling and share an enjoyable experience. The techniques that Jan teaches really make a big difference and keep both dog and handler happy.
